Introduction

Welcome to Peterborough EPC. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.

Prices

All prices quoted for our services include the £9.91 lodgement fee payable to the UK Government. Some companies charge this in addition, but we include it in our total price.

Additional Charges

• Hard Copy of EPC: £10 (Including postage).

• Aborted Assessment: 50% of the total charge (only applicable if the survey has to be aborted on the day for reasons beyond our control through actions of the client).

• Cancelled Assessment: £35. The assessment must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment. Cancellations can be made either through email or phone.
  
  

Payment and Delivery

• Upon successful completion of the survey, the EPC will not be lodged until payment has cleared.

• Once payment has cleared, the EPC will be forwarded by email unless hard copies have been ordered.

• Hard copies will be sent within 7 days of receipt of payment.
  
  

Client Responsibilities

• Clients must ensure that the property is accessible and that all necessary arrangements are made for the survey to be carried out.

• Any obstructions or issues that prevent the survey from being completed will result in an aborted assessment charge.
  
  

Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid the cancellation fee.

• Cancellations can be made via email or phone. Failure to cancel within the specified time frame will result in a cancellation charge of £35.
  
  

Aborted Assessments

• If the survey cannot be completed on the day due to reasons beyond our control (such as the client not being present or the property being inaccessible), an aborted assessment charge of 50% of the total charge will apply.
  
  

Limitation of Liability

Peterborough EPC will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
